International Students

Bryn Athyn values the diversity and richness of cultural experience that international students bring to campus.  Currently students from 14 countries attend Bryn Athyn.

Application requirements for International Students:

  • Completed application form with essays.
  • High school diploma, certificate, or record of examinations
  • Transcript of courses, or subjects and grades
  • For Canadian applicants, SAT or ACT with Writing Test may be required depending on high school record
  • TOEFL (if English is not the applicant's first language),Minimum Scores: 70 (Internet Based), 190 (Computer Based), 520 (Paper based)
  • Teacher and guidance counselor recommendations
  • Employer recommendation (for applicants out of school 1 year or more)
  • Interview may be required
  • Interest in the teachings of Emanuel Swedenborg

All international students should enter at the beginning of the academic year in the Fall Term. Exceptions may be made for applicants who are native speakers orwhose TOEFL scores reflect they are  near-native speakers of English.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL):
If English is not your native language, you should take the TOEFL at least 1 month prior to the application deadline. Have the test results sent to Bryn Athyn College. Our school code is 2002.
