My Story: Kendra Smith

Kendra appreciates the opportunity to get real world exposure through her internship experiences with organic farming in Costa Rica, teaching ESL to Spanish-speaking immigrants, and serving as a tour guide at the Bryn Athyn Cathedral.

"I found that internships gave me the freedom to experience and apply my education on a greater level than I could in the classroom. When I got back into my classes I was able to draw from those experiences and really process what was going on in my Education courses because my inquiries came from my experiences."
