Overview

Bryn Athyn College is located 15 miles north of center-city Philadelphia in the rolling hills of eastern Montgomery County. New York City, the Pocono mountains, the Jersey shore, Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and many other cultural destinations are within easy driving distance of the College.

The original campus and surrounding community of Bryn Athyn were designed in 1893 by Charles Eliot of the firm of Olmsted, Olmsted and Eliot. This renowned firm was also responsible for the design of Central Park in New York City and the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina.

The College’s 130-acre campus includes 19 buildings, four athletic fields, tennis courts, and an ice rink. The Bryn Athyn Cathedral, Glencairn Museum, and Cairnwood Mansion  provide a wealth of educational, cultural and religious opportunities for students. They have recently been placed in nomination for National Landmark status. Glencairn Museum and Cairnwood Mansion are on the National Register of Historic Places.
