Charter Day Weekend.

At Bryn Athyn College, Charter Day is the most anticipated event of the fall. Families and friends pour into town from around the world to partake in the festivities and celebrate the granting of the institution's charter in 1877. Alumni, in between making respectable showings in both the Alumni Volleyball Match and the Alumni Soccer Game, enjoyed tours of campus renovations--both the completed projects and those still underway.

Free coffee and refreshments were available all weekend at the brand new College Cafe, College Grounds. At Thursday's Comedy Night, everyone enjoyed an
evening of fresh jokes and original music in support of the Science Building Fund,
and Friday's formal procession across the grounds highlighted the College's new
landscaping. It is generally agreed, however, that the highlight of the weekend was
the Saturday Night Banquet, where two college students--Chris Barber and Kristine
Medley--spoke about their experiences at and affection for Bryn Athyn College.
