– Eli Brewer '11, Fullerton, California"The friends you meet here are friends for life—that is what I was told. That is what I now believe. This is because of the quality of the individuals and the time spent with them. The College is small so I almost never see a face I don't recognize. People are deeper here. They actually care."
The campus community at Bryn Athyn is connected. Our small size ensures that students make meaningful connections and develop close relationships with other students, professors and staff. While our community shares a strong Christian faith that unites us, we value the diversity and unique perspectives that our many international students bring. Nearly 15 percent of our students are from places outside the United States.
And like any college with a 7:1 student-faculty ratio, our professors are approachable and accessible. But they take it to a new level—having their office hours in the coffee shop, playing pick-up hockey with students, or joining students in service work. As one student described it, "Professors want to be involved in our lives. It's their life, too."
That's what helps create community at Bryn Athyn College.
