WHEN: Anytime needed
HOURS: As-needed basis
PAY: $10.00 per hour 8 AM – 8 PM
$15 per hour outside the above times, weekends, holidays.

The Consolidated Plant Operations (CPO) seeks student workers to work on an as-needed basis as on-call employees. Participants on this crew may be called upon to help with a number of situations that arise during the school year. Workers should be able to comfortably lift 50 pounds and work in cold, windy, wet, and slippery/icy conditions. Working hours may include weekends, late nights, or early mornings, as is often the case during a snowstorm. If selected, you may be contacted by any number of supervisors and asked if you are available. It is understood you may have other campus employment.

Duties include:

  • Moving furniture or other items
  • Cleaning
  • Setting up for functions
  • Leaf removal
  • Snow removal
  • Other duties as required by the Director of Campus Services


Must be currently enrolled as a student of Bryn Athyn College and in good academic standing. Applicants should be friendly, reliable, punctual, and comfortable dealing with employees at all levels, students, and visitors. Applicants must be very dependable, have the ability to follow instructions, and display a sense of professionalism at all times while on duty.

Bryn Athyn College has an opening for a full-time Bursar, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. The Bursar oversees student billing and is the custodian of the student billing system, loan collections and disbursements, student financial records, Title IV recalculations, college-wide cash handling, and the accounts receivable function. Responsibilities include coordinating/overseeing activities associated with the student receivable system, including billing, collections, write-offs and account reconciliations for the College; coordinating/overseeing billing and collections for the Academy of the New Church Secondary Schools; responsibility for implementation and maintenance of proper cash handling procedures; supervising distribution of student refunds; coordinating with the Registrar, Financial Aid, and other departments the back-out procedures related to class deletion due to non-payment; coordinating preparation of the annual 1098T forms; supporting preparation of financial statements and the related annual audit; and performing other job-related duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer. This is a non-exempt, benefit-eligible position.

Requirements include 2 years minimum experience in a related field; comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles; an understanding of current best practices and standards of student billing in higher education; exceptional interpersonal/customer-service skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; and a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel. A bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field is preferred, as is similar experience in higher education.
