Fun Before Finals: Spring Weekend Highlights

This year's Spring Weekend provided students with a much-needed respite from end of year studies. And along with the springtime activities came the chance to meet alumni and show their families around campus.

Some of this year's highlights:

After a day of classroom visiting, alumni and friends joined students at Friday evening's Spring Fever Dance. Despite the wet ground outside, the tireless dancers stayed dry under the illuminated tent.
Saturday's Alumni Lacrosse game was well-played on both sides; the final score was 15 –16, with the final point scored in the last minute of the game.
After the game everyone headed over towards Childs Hall for the Fun Fair and Barbecue. Kids enjoyed the booths hosted by majors and College clubs while alumni, students, and friends enjoyed the beautiful spring weather and bountiful barbecue. Highlights included duck pond, dunk tank, moon bounce, and fortune telling.
The long day finished with an a cappella performance by award winning group Chapter 6 at Glencairn Museum that blew the crowd away. Bryn Athyn's own women's a cappella club, the Never B Flats, opened the show enthusiastically.

Rev. Dr. Ray Silverman wrapped up the weekend with a beautiful worship service in the Pendleton Hall Chapel on Sunday morning.
