College Packages 14,000 Meals with Stop Hunger Now

Each year, Bryn Athyn College kicks off the academic year with a campus-wide Service Day. Students, faculty, and this year, members of the College's Alumni Organization, participated in a number of service events on and around campus.

One student group traveled to the Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust to clean up the preserve in the wake of Hurricane Irene. Another team of students and alumni prepared bike trails for the annual Whirlybird 'Cross Bicycle Race that takes place on the College campus each fall. At the Asplundh Field House, students, alumni, and faculty teamed up with Stop Hunger Now to package 14,000 meals to deliver to ongoing school feeding programs.
