Studying Business at Bryn Athyn

If studying business sounds interesting, but you have an equally strong passion for literature, history, theology, science, or another area of study, then our business/interdisciplinary major might be a good fit or you.

At Bryn Athyn, you can combine your study of business with just about any with another subject area that interests you. Our curriculum covers a comprehensive business program that includes accounting, business law, marketing, management, and ethics in business and leads to a bachelor of arts degree.

Features of our program

  • A core curriculum of business courses and a second discipline of your choice
  • The application of New Church ideas into business settings and principles
  • Close relationships with our faculty who are seasoned business professionals
  • A senior capstone experience designed by you and tailored to your interests
  • An opportunity to chose an area of specialty within business, such as accounting, marketing, or management

In addition, our business/interdisciplinary program allows you to study for up to two terms at another college or university and have the credits apply toward your Bryn Athyn degree. We encourage and assist you in pursuing one or more internship experiences to apply your knowledge and get real-world experience in the business field.

Graduates of our business/interdisciplinary program have landed jobs in the for-profit and nonprofit sectors and in governmental agencies. A number have also pursued graduate and professional degrees.

Networking and learning opportunities

The business program's "Road to Reality" series gives you ongoing opportunities to meet with managers, entrepreneurs, and business executives to learn about the application and implementation of classroom ideas and concepts.
