Philosophy Interdisciplinary Program
The Philosophy Interdisciplinary Program allows students to take advantage of our philosophy offerings while also applying their theories in another discipline.
A total of 130 credits is required for the BA degree. The senior research essay or project serves as a capstone. Students will work with the philosophy program advisor to design their program.
Prerequisites:
- Philosophy 101: Critical Thinking
- Philosophy 102: Introduction to Philosophy
- Philosophy 111: Introduction to Moral Philosophy

- Philosophy 210: Ancient Philosophy or Philosophy 211: Modern Philosophy
- Philosophy 220: Political Thought
300-level courses:
- Philosophy 311: Topics in Contemporary Philosophy II
- One of the following:
- Philosophy 310: Topics in Contemporary Philosophy I
- Philosophy 320: Swedenborg's Philosophy
- Philosophy 321: Swedenborg's Philosophy
