Soccer at Bryn Athyn College

Bryn Athyn's soccer team competes in the Eastern States Soccer League each fall. The team practices throughout the fall season on the field adjacent to the ample facilities at the Asplundh Field House.

Meet the Coaches

Edwin Steiner was born and raised in Germany, where he grew up with a soccer ball at his feet. He has been coaching soccer at Bryn Athyn College since 2007. He currently serves as Head Coach of our men's soccer team, but he has experience coaching both men's and women's teams, and both indoor and outdoor soccer. He coached high school soccer for more than ten years; during that time he developed a special goalkeeping program for high school girls and incorporated soccerobics and yoga exercises into practices and warmups as strength and agility training.

In his fifth year as Assistant Coach of the men's soccer team, Robin Cooper will again be bringing his enthusiasm, experience, and sportsmanship to the Bryn Athyn College athletics department. He played soccer and baseball in college, and has served as volunteer coordinator of the local indoor soccer team for two years.
