BAC
ROCKS! 2006, a show based on music by The Beatles,
was originally planned in the Spring of 2005. Band members
were recruited and the new BAC ROCKS! band got together
and picked songs to play. Rehearsals began in January
of 2006 in the Fine Arts Center on campus. As the project
developed the list of songs was refined, and in late
September 2006 all musical pieces had come together.
This was the biggest BAC ROCKS! production thus far.
It had an elaborate set, a replica of the rooftop on
3 Savile Row in London where The Beatles Played their
last ever live performance in early 1969. The set was
designed by Naomi Haus-Roth and partly constructed by
college students and faculty during College Service
Day 2006. A large sound system was hired and for the
first time the light show was included rotating lights.
The light show was, as usual, designed by Juliet and
Steve Lindrooth. This was also the first time that a
BAC ROCKS! production played multiple shows (three in
total).

band rehearsing on the stage which is now getting closer
and closer to being ready. During this time Juliet Lindrooth
worked extremely hard to program the lights (the new
light board came without any instructions...). In the
end it all worked out beautifully!
