At Bryn Athyn, it's the opportunities to lead – in student government, campus clubs, the arts, and athletics – that complete your college experience. Because our campus is small, it's easy to get involved. And by getting involved, you'll have the chance to make a real difference.
Campus life, though, is about more than just clubs and student organizations. It's about the comfortable feeling that students say makes this college feel like an extended family. It's comfortable because you know that other students share your core values and priorities about life. And you know you can hang out in any group because everyone is welcoming.
It's also a sense of community that's obvious when you attend the weekly open meeting the deans hold in the coffee shop just to connect with students, or the annual community service day that might have you painting houses in Philly alongside your favorite professor.
Student life integrates religion into everyday life – listen in on a campus conversation at any given time and you’re just as likely to hear students talking about their spiritual life as about what movie they saw last weekend. Of course, there's no shortage of barbecues at the student-built gazebo, gatherings at the fire pit, outdoor basketball and sand volleyball tournaments – and that's where you'll form friendships that will be some of the most memorable aspects of your college experience.
