Do you like the outdoors? Seeking adventure as a break from your studies? The Outing Club has just what you're looking for. Outing Club members share a passion for outdoor recreation and adventure. Student leaders of the Outing Club meet regularly as part of the Social Committee to help plan activities and trips year-round that are offered to Club members and to the broader campus community.

Outing Club activities:

• Horseback riding
• Camping
• Backpacking
• Bike trips to the Jersey Shore and other destinations
• Rock climbing
• Whitewater rafting
• Hiking
• Bird watching
• Camping on the Pinnacle
• Ski trips

While primarily recreational, Outing Club destinations aren't always to the great outdoors. The Outing Club periodically plans trips to New York City to sightsee or to catch a show. They venture to nearby New Hope to see concerts or go rafting down the Delaware River. And everyone loves the monthly trip down to Old City Philadelphia on First Fridays (more info at www.gophila.com), when art galleries keep their doors open late and admission is free.
