Student Newspaper: The Bryn Athyn College Beacon

Share your creative flair or a penchant for news by joining the staff of Bryn Athyn's student-run newspaper, The Bryn Athyn College Beacon.

The Beacon is published monthly by students, with periodic contributions from faculty and alumni. Students serve as writers, editors, designers, photographers, and artists.

Each issue reflects our students' diverse interests and talents. News and feature articles, survey results, opinion pieces, short stories, comics, poetry, and artwork show the creative flavor and informative texture of campus life at Bryn Athyn. Topics range from politics, reports on internship experiences, and sports team success to discussions of New Church ideas or reflections on procrastination and the challenges of writing senior research essays.

The student newspaper has evolved over the years but maintains the overall goal of giving students a place to express their opinions and to give students, faculty, and community members enlightening and entertaining reading.

The paper is distributed free on campus and is also available to alumni, friends, and family by subscription through the mail for $20 per year.
