Andi joined the Swedenborg Library faculty in 2015. She has been a librarian in academic and school libraries for over 20 years. She has been an instructor in college level ESL courses in the USA and China and taught as an elementary school classroom teacher for over ten years. At Bryn Athyn College, Andi is responsible for promoting and teaching Information Literacy classes in collaboration with librarians and subject faculty. She is also responsible for managing the Reserve Textbook collection and supporting reference and research services. She collaborates with the other Librarians on collection development. Andi is also a contributor to the Swedenborg Library newsletters, outreach programs and social media pages.

Accomplishments

  • I’ve been blogging for ten years, publishing book reviews, educational technology integration ideas, and poetry. I’ve had my haiku published by the Haiku Society of America and won their first place prize in 1998. I am an avid knitter and have created award-winning quilts.
