Ballroom Dancing Club is bringing energy and elegance to the dance floor this year. Members are currently learning a variety of styles including the Cha-Cha, Tango, Quickstep, and more, with each session focusing on one dance at a time. Step-by-step instruction from an experienced instructor helps dancers build confidence while enjoying the process.

Whether you’re stepping onto the floor for the first time or returning with experience, this club is designed to meet you where you are. Each class begins with foundational steps and gradually builds into more fluid combinations. It’s easy to jump in at any point in the year, making this a welcoming and low-pressure way to learn something new while connecting with others.

Barbell Technique Club is currently helping students build strength, confidence, and proper lifting habits under the guidance of certified strength coach Kaitryn Pellani. Weekly sessions focus on mastering foundational barbell movements such as the squat, deadlift, bench press, and overhead press.

Each class includes mobility work, skill-based drills, and progressive strength training to ensure participants are improving safely and effectively. A major focus of the club is learning how to breathe and brace properly so participants can protect their spine, create more stability, and lift with confidence. Kaitryn provides personalized coaching and feedback, creating a supportive environment for all levels. Whether you’re new to lifting or refining your technique, this club is actively helping members get stronger every week.

BBQ Club brings students together over great food, good conversation, and hands-on grilling experiences. Members gather on campus to cook, experiment with flavors, and enjoy the results together.

From learning grilling techniques to simply enjoying the social atmosphere, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re experienced at the grill or just showing up for the food, BBQ Club continues to create a relaxed and welcoming environment centered around community and shared meals.

Clay Club meets every Thursday evening from 7:30-9:30pm in the ceramics lab, offering a creative and relaxed space to work with clay. This collaborative, co-op style environment allows members to learn from one another while experimenting with different techniques.

Students can try their hand at wheel throwing, hand-building, and creating personalized pieces. No experience is neededjust a willingness to create and explore. Whether you're making gifts, developing skills, or simply unwinding, Clay Club is a space to get your hands dirty and enjoy the process.

Fishing Club explores local fishing spots throughout the year, making the most of every season. Members are heading out to nearby waters to fish together, whether that means enjoying the summer sun or bundling up for winter ice fishing.

The club offers a laid-back environment where students can learn new techniques, share tips, and spend time outdoors. Whether you're experienced or trying fishing for the first time, this club is actively creating opportunities to get outside and enjoy the water with others.

Gardening Club is transforming the campus landscape through hands-on work and sustainable practices. Members plant and maintain gardens, cultivate native plants, and support local wildlife habitats.

Ongoing projects include developing wildflower meadows, revitalizing the Doering Center rain basin, and enhancing green spaces across campus. No prior experience is required - just an interest in working outdoors and making a visible impact. This club offers a meaningful way to enjoy fresh air while contributing to the beauty and sustainability of campus.

Pickleball Club brings students together on outdoor courts near campus for friendly and competitive play. Members regularly organize games ranging from 1v1 matchups to 2v2 doubles, creating a fun and active environment.

Whether you’re learning the game or already competitive, the club offers a consistent opportunity to play, improve, and connect with others. It’s an easy way to stay active while enjoying some lighthearted competition.

Line Dancing Club meets every other week, helping members build confidence and skill on the dance floor. Sessions focus on breaking down both beginner and intermediate dances, making it easy for new dancers to get involved while still challenging more experienced participants.

Members are currently preparing for group outings to local venues, where they can apply what they’ve learned in a fun, social setting. The club emphasizes community and connection, bringing all levels together on one dance floor. By the end of the term, dancers are confidently picking up new routines and enjoying the rhythm together.

Run Club is currently hitting the streets and trails, bringing runners together to train, improve, and stay motivated. Members support one another as they prepare for local races, including 5Ks and other running events throughout the season, such as the 10 mile Broad Street Run!

Led by passionate runners, the club fosters both accountability and camaraderie. Whether you're running your first mile or training competitively, Run Club is actively helping members push their limits and achieve their goals together.

Tabletop Games Club is currently bringing students together for engaging, multiplayer gaming experiences. Members regularly meet to play a variety of tabletop games, with a strong focus on Dungeons & Dragons.

The club provides a welcoming environment for both experienced players and newcomers. Whether you're strategizing, role-playing, or just enjoying time with friends, Tabletop Games Club offers a consistent space to connect and play.

Volleyball Club meets weekly for two-hours in the Asplundh Field House. Players are actively competing in organized games that often include members of the wider Bryn Athyn community, creating a balance of competitive energy and an inclusive, welcoming environment.

Scrimmages range from small-group play to full-court matches across multiple nets, allowing for a variety of skill levels and play styles. As the weather warms up, the club also takes advantage of outdoor space, moving games onto the grass for a more relaxed and fun change of pace. 

Golf Club brings students out to the course each week for relaxed and enjoyable rounds at Philmont Country Club. Members coordinate schedules to form foursomes, creating a flexible and welcoming environment for consistent play.

Students have ongoing access to the practice green, driving range, and full 18-hole course, allowing them to develop their skills while enjoying time outdoors. Equipment and carts are available if needed, making it easy for anyone to participate. No gear is requiredGolf Club can cover any rentals as needed. 

Adventure Club organizes and funds trips and experiences that get students outside and exploring new places together. Members take part in a wide range of activitiesfrom day outings like snow tubing to fun local evenings at places like trampoline parks.

All adventures are student-driven, giving members the opportunity to suggest ideas and help plan upcoming trips. With new events constantly in the works, the club continues to build momentum with plans for waterfall hikes, paintball trips, amusement park visits, and more. Whether you're looking for a laid-back outing or something more adventurous, Adventure Club offers a fun and flexible way to get out and experience something new during the school year.
