About
Dr. Closterman teaches courses in ancient history and literature, Greek and Latin, and material culture studies. Her research focuses on the funerary practices, religion, and social history of ancient Greece, and she has published numerous articles, book reviews, and encyclopedia and catalog entries. Dr. Closterman has led summer trips to Greece and Italy, and she is planning a Bryn Athyn College student, faculty, and alumni trip to Greece in June of 2022.
