Bryn Athyn College’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) organized its second annual toy drive for the Hatboro Toys for Tots Program. The drive collected a total of 115 toys in two weeks, helping the organization in its mission to provide Christmas gifts for underprivileged children.

Donations of new and unwrapped toys were accepted in a community collection bin located inside the College Center on campus, as well as six home hockey and basketball games, including the women’s basketball “Tacky Sweater Game,” and the men’s basketball “Battle of the Lions.” By the end of the drive, the bins were bursting with gifts for children.

Ramona Walters, head coach of Bryn Athyn College’s women’s lacrosse team, extends her gratitude for the drive’s success, “A huge thank you to the coaches of men’s ice hockey, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball, along with all their supporters, for coming out and overflowing two huge boxes with new, unwrapped toys! This is just a small demonstration of how our Bryn Athyn community comes together in an effort to deliver hope to our neighbors.”
